Hālau O ‘Aulani is excited to welcome new and returning haumāna for our Fall Term, beginning Sunday, September 7, 2025. We start this new season with aloha, intention, and connection.
Our Orientation Day Schedule is as follows:
Arrival: 11:00am; please arrive early to settle in and prepare for our opening protocols.
Opening Protocols: 11:30am sharp; We will begin with oli, pule, and a welcoming announcement to set the tone for our hālau ‘ohana.
Orientation Presentation and Icebreakers: get to know fellow haumāna and alaka’i through engaging activities that build connections.
Hula Basics and Hālau Staple Songs: we’ll review foundational hula steps and revisit beloved mele that ground our practice.
‘Ukulele Lessons: bring your instrument and curiosity. We’ll strum through simple songs together.
Closing: 3:30pm; Mahalo for spending your day with us! We look forward to a season of growth, learning, and aloha!
